2020 has been a year that few will forget. For Binny Golf Club it has been particularly memorable. At the beginning of the year the committee took over the running of the golf course from SRUC Oatridge, setting up the limited companay Binny Golf Club Ltd..
Before the season got underway the first COVID lockdown was in operation and there was doubt how much golf we were going to be able to play during the year, however, as restrictions eased we were able to reshuffle the the competition schedule and, like a lot of golf clubs, were inundated with guests taking part in what was one of the only forms of exercise allowable under the restrictions.
It has been a rollercoaster of a year.
As restrictions continue it has not been possible to hold our traditional end-of-season dinner and prize-giving. Below is a video of our Club Captain's end-of season remarks and a gallery of the prizewinners for the year.
